The single lever operation is particularly convenient , allowing you to carry out all functions with just one hand. If you take a break from work, the chainsaw is ready to start again straight away. The combination lever with stop function automatically springs back into the operating position. Another advantage of using the MS 172 from STIHL: the side chain tensioner ensures that the chain can be re-tensioned safely and easily without coming into contact with the sharp chain or the tips of the claw stop.
